Mike comes to Cages of Las Vegas as a former outfielder in the Boston Red Sox organization. He was a 9th round draft pick (184th overall) in 1980 , the same draft that the Mets picked Darryl Strawberry with the #1 pick. He was a Collegiate All-American and played in two consecutive all star games in Fenway Park facing local Las Vegas politician and Harvard grad Larry Brown in the mid-summer classic. He still holds the career and single season home run records 30 years after leaving UMass-Lowell, who's field ironically serves as the home of the Lowell Spinners, the short season Class A representative of the Boston Red Sox.
During his career, he was taught and influenced by Charlie Lau, who was Hall of Famer George Bretts hitting instructor and Hall of Famer Ted Williams—MLB's last .400 hitter. He worked out extensively with such Red Sox icons Carl Yastrezemski (MLB's last Triple Crown winner) and Carlton Fisk. Mike brings a boat load of passion and a unique combination of communication skills, patience, and hitting knowledge that kids of all ages can benefit from. You will learn swing thoughts that work in a game and under pressure. You will obtain proven and measurable results that you can see and feel. And most of all, you will learn how to make this game what it should be—FUN to play !
Mike is also the Father of MLB prospect Kris Bryant who currently plays Varsity Baseball for the Bonanza HS.

Tony is a former College and Professional Pitcher who has been a Full-Time Pitching Instructor and Pitching Consultant for local Little Leagues, Club Ball teams, High School and Legion Programs for the last 8 years.
But, enough about him! What you really need is an instructor that can teach you that pitching velocity is not a strength issue, but a momentum and speed of movement issue. Tony’s program is based on Sports Science research and the latest Bio-Mechanics as they relate to pitching. Tony teaches how lower body mechanics must be improved in order to produce energy for arm speed, as well as to create a strong foundation for the upper body. Poor lower body mechanics can reduce velocity, control and lead to arm injuries. Tony’s program is based on understanding the key components of developing explosive power through correct mechanics, balance, timing, smoothness and increased stride length.
Tony teaches the proper arm angle, hip and trunk rotation, correct weight transfer and enhanced follow-through (reduces rotator cuff and labrum injuries) Lessons also include discussions on defensive responsibilities, grip techniques and pitching strategy. Tony teaches these same techniques to his son Joey, who will be a junior at Bishop Gorman, whose fastball has been clocked at 94mph.
